Certified by the IRS to verify identity documents and certify ITIN applications — no need to mail your original passport.

What Is an ITIN?

An Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) is a tax processing number issued by the IRS to individuals who are not eligible for a Social Security Number (SSN) but have a U.S. tax filing obligation.

ITINs are used by nonresident aliens, foreign nationals, undocumented immigrants, dependents or spouses of U.S. citizens or resident aliens, and others who need to file a U.S. tax return.

What We Offer

ITIN Services We Provide

From first-time applications to renewals and dependent ITINs — we handle every step with accuracy and care.

New ITIN Applications

We prepare and certify Form W-7 for first-time ITIN applicants, verifying your identity documents so you never have to mail originals to the IRS.

ITIN Renewals

ITINs not used on a federal tax return for three consecutive years expire. We handle the renewal process quickly and correctly.

Dependent ITIN Applications

Applying for an ITIN for a spouse or dependent? We guide you through the additional requirements and certify the necessary documents.

ITIN + Tax Return Filing

We can file your federal tax return at the same time as your ITIN application — saving you time and ensuring everything is submitted together.

Document Certification

As a CAA, we are authorized by the IRS to review and certify original identity documents, eliminating the risk of lost or delayed mail.

ITIN for Business Owners

Foreign nationals who own U.S. businesses or have U.S.-source income may need an ITIN to meet their tax obligations. We handle these complex cases.

The IRS requires proof of identity and foreign status. As a CAA, we review and certify these documents in person — no mailing required.

Passport (most common — satisfies both identity and foreign status)
National ID card (must show photo, name, address, DOB, and expiration)
U.S. or foreign driver's license
Civil birth certificate (required for dependents under 18)
Foreign voter registration card
U.S. military ID card
Foreign military ID card
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) photo ID
Visa issued by U.S. Department of State
Medical records (for dependents under 6 only)

The CAA Advantage — No Mailing Your Passport

When you apply through a Certifying Acceptance Agent, the IRS allows us to review and certify your original documents in person. You keep your passport and ID — we send certified copies with your application. This eliminates weeks of waiting and the risk of your documents getting lost in the mail.
